"…In EA everything begins, prior to any other action, by determining the PH, with our PHF methodology…"
The AE has developed its own methodology for determining to determine the potential habitats of a farm, named Potential Habitat Farming (PHF) based on the codes of habitats and habitats associations listed in the European Habitats Directive.and through the European Reference Information Systems of Habitats of Community Interest, as well as an analysis of the landscape, edaphological and ombroclimatic units in the place
Obviously, the task of determining the PH is greatly simplified when the tiles of the European Reference Information Systems of Habitats of Community Interest are found on the edge of the farm itself or within it.
This is exceptional unless our farm is next to a natural area. The normal thing is that in most of the crops, these are developed far from the georeferenced habitat communities. Therefore, we will have to deduce them by observing the species and associations that occur on the roadsides, as well as the edaphological and ombroclimatic characteristics.
