The IADEAL Association has as one of its four main objectives, Create EA initiatives in problem areas. This is the case of the Mar Menor Basin, where the excess of agricultural nitrates, among others, has contaminated the cuternary lagoon, eutrophising it, and producing an environmental disaster, with various episodes of death of thousands of species due to suffocation. For this reason, it participates from the beginning in the Life MenorNitrA Project, currently under development, for the next LIFE 2021-2027 call, and which, among other measures, aims to reduce nitrates from agricultural origin, through the implementation of ecosystemic agriculture strategies.

The IADEAL Association is giving 100% to the ALBAIDA Initiative. In this line, contacts are being established with various Spanish, Italian and French agricultural cooperatives, for the development of the LIFE EcosystemicA project, in the next call LIFE 2021-2027
